While I am thrilled to see Twilicorn-Haters get their just desserts, I think Big Jim is correct, the argument between RD and Quibble Pants could have been lifted from just about any fandom you could name, Star Trek, Star Wars, Dune, DBZ, X-files, etc. Any major franchise will have a "Jump the Shark" moment that divides the fanbase (i.e. Kirk vs. Picard vs. Reboot Kirk).
