I think Youtube would mostly occupy themselves with people they personally don't like and want silenced anyway. It worked for Twitter, it worked for Reddit. Punish the freethinkers, but let the radicals run rampant because they happen to belong to your group of friends.
Yeah, I don't see this backfiring at all, nope!
"Advertiser friendly" sounds very doubleplusungood to me if you catch my drift.
