Solaire of Astora's endless helpfulness, availability and doofiness (and tragedy) combined with Robert E. O. Speedwagon's faithfulness, influence and ability to save you in the nick of time, rolled into a package that's frankly quite adorable, has probably the best hair in the series, and… well, I shan't spoil the best bit. Truly as perfect as they come.

This is all from Cognitive Dissonance, aka MOTHER 1.5 aka 'that other thing they used Megalovania in'. Astoundingly high quality for a fangame made in RPG Maker 2003-- it's lacking in a few places, but still good in its own right and with some real honest effort put into its added content (with amazing results!). I recommend it for you diehard Earthbound fans out there who, on second thought, don't really exist on this site… oh well.
