Seriously, why is it so hard to understand that being good FEELS good? It's the White Knight syndrome in play (and I mean ACTUAL White Knighting, not the warped internet version that fedora wearers use).

Honestly, the idea that people only choose to do good things because they fear the consequences of doing otherwise is just cynical to a stupidly absurd degree.
