Overview
Casey Anthony Substack and Casey Anthony's TikTok Account refers to the return of controversial figure Casey Anthony to social media in February 2025 with a Substack and TikTok account made to promote the Substack named @CaseyAnthony_Substack. Anthony launched the Substack in February and posted a video to TikTok promoting the page in March 2025. The focus of her Substack is on her work as a "legal advocate," with the goal of giving people tools and resources they can use in relation to legal issues. Anthony's video went viral, inspiring discourse and a significant amount of backlash, with many unable to forgive Anthony for the death of her daughter in 2008 and her child neglect and obstruction of a criminal investigation charges in 2011 related to the death, with many believing she deserved a murder charge.

In 2011, Casey Anthony was charged with giving false statements to law enforcement, obstruction of a criminal investigation and child neglect in relation to the 2008 death of her daughter, Caylee Anthony. Anthony was tried for first-degree murder but was found not guilty. Despite this, many believed Anthony should have been found guilty.
Casey Anthony's Substack & TikTok Account (2025)
On February 5th, 2025, Casey Anthony launched her Substack[1] page, @therealcaseyanthony. The page is made to focus on Anthony's work as a legal advocate. In her first post, Anthony shared a video from the @msnbc TikTok[2] account in which democrats speak at the "Nobody Elected Elon" rally against Elon Musk.
In the post, Anthony shares negative opinions about Musk, writing, "We cannot standby idly by as this atrocity continues. We have to protect the people of this country, we have to fight for our freedom, we have to fight for these programs that help aid Americans. We still have rights! The billionaires are NOT in control."

Anthony made several more posts to Substack over the following weeks, each espousing democratic politics, statements against the President Trump administration and covering legal and political topics.
On March 1st, 2025, Anthony made a post to her new TikTok[3] account, @caseyanthony_substack, in which she promotes her Substack and explains how she intends to use her accounts to promote her legal advocacy work, garnering over 2.1 million views in two days.

Online Reactions
The TikTok video and Substack account inspired reactions across social media, with many of them sharing negative sentiments towards Anthony's return.
On March 2nd, 2025, X[4] user @conservativ3ant reposted her video, writing, "Not Casey fckn Anthony 😂😂😂 Didn’t have it on my bingo card," garnering over 18,000 likes in a day.
Later that day, X[5] user @kristen__beck quoted the post, writing, "ABSOLUTELY NOT. We need to shame Casey Anthony right back into obscurity. There will never be enough time passed to erase what she did," garnering over 2,300 likes in a day.

On March 3rd, X[6] user @JackPosobiec reposted the video, writing, "Casey Anthony has come out as a women’s rights and LGBT rights advocate," garnering over 6,000 likes in under a day. That day, X[7] user @AngelaBelcamino posted, "We can all agree that no one likes Casey Anthony… correct?" garnering over 5,600 likes in roughly seven hours.

That same day, TikToker[8] @nocorious posted a video set to "Hi Bich" by Bhad Bhabie in which she dares her to turn her comments on, garnering over 28,000 views in under a day.

Also on March 3rd, 2025, TikToker[9] @irritatedartist posted a video where he discusses Casey Anthony's return to the public eye via TikTok while he fills a sock with rocks and coins, the implication being that he's going to use the sock as a weapon to harm Anthony, garnering over 10,000 views in under a day.
