Part of your job as a lead animator is to be able to stay on model. You are literally supposed to draw it in the style provided to you in the character sheets. An animator's job is not to be the creative visionary that's the directer and designers. Your job is to make it look like it's the same thing If you can't do that you should not be a lead animator of a hand-drawn cartoon lol. Not a good job for you You wanna be creative and develop your own styles and stuff that's great That's HOW new stuff is made. But not at work, when you're on a team of ALL artists making a public production. How unfair is it to everyone else that YOU want to use your "artistic freedom instead of your job while everybody else does what they were hired to do? Assholes who do this are literally the person at work everybody mumbles about to eachother. Don't be a j------- As much as I love Cartoon Network they have had some really s----- teams animation-wise for years now.
