Tesla was a pigeon obsessed eugenics supporter. Newton spent far more of his life on theology and alchemy than any of the calculus or astronomy we celebrate him for. Oh and while on the subject, Darwin married his his first cousin and half of his inbred children died before adulthood. Its easy to make any of them sound stupid if you take their life out of context.
I cringed at Nye for bringing identity politics into a science show, but in perspective the man is not at all in poor company with the giants of Science.

…And? Tesla I can understand, but Newton was not only justified in his studies, but they made complete sense for the time. If anything, I would have mentioned Tycho Brahe; that dude was fucked.
