Is that a fair characterization? Comey: Yes, our, the IC's judgment was that Guccifer 2.0 was an instrument of the Russian intelligence Q. In August of last year, Roger Stone exchanged a number of messages with Guccifer 2.0 via twitter... [included a number of bizarre pleasantries] In one message Guccifer writes to Mr. Stone, "Please tell me if I can help you any how. It would be a great pleasure to me." .. This sounds like a clear offer from a Russian intelligence officer to collaborate with a senior official on the Trump campaign... Do we know did any further communication between Stone and Guccifer 2.0 took place? And if you can't say here but you could say in a classified environment can you make that distinction? Comey: I definitely cannot say here,-I don't think I would say in a classified environment - because it calls for questions about what we're looking at and how. But I definitely can't say here."
