May called the snap election in order to practically kill the labor party. She aimed for a double-digit majority. She wanted to gain total control not just from her party, but of all UK. It was a phyrric victory for the History books.

Labour was expected to lose so badly, the party would implode and shatter. Now Labour looks strong, hopeful and confident, miles above the Conservatives. Political battles are more complex than it seems. So, overall this was an extremally important strategic victory for Labor. In the next elections (surely very soon), I am pretty sure he will be elected PM.

Sure, they lost, but no one actually won this election. It’s a Rocky story, where the underdog, heavily favoured to be crushed by the champ actually goes the full rounds and loses on decision. Sure, the champ won, but people are cheering for the underdog no one gave a chance to win for putting on a good fight.
