It's quite rare that I do an interpretation on a character whose canonical art style is so different from mine! And in hindsight there's good reason for it, haha. This piece ended up causing a bunch of problems due to that. The main one being interpreting her face. She has these asymmetrical sized pupils and very expressive cartoony face, and doing a translation into my style that seemed effective enough took many, many, many tries. Thankfully in the end it worked out, I think!

I wanted her do this cute monster roar, like she's trying to strike a cool villain pose, but actually just coming across as an adorable idiot. :3
