When Nickelodeon began to promote Jimmy Neutron back 2001, they did a series of promotional stunts where Jimmy would interrupt different Nicktoons and change them up in some way. In this case, he interrupted the SpongeBob “Hooky” episode during the scene where SpongeBob and Patrick make a sailor’s promise to Mr. Krabs and turned the characters into puppets. It wasn’t until recently that footage of this was found.
