i had a dream where they release a new trailer at E3, showing up a cinematic fight between Samus and Ridley ( as making it look like the new Metroid game) and then when Ridley was about to finish Samus, he gets DESINTEGRATED by a BFG shoot, following Doomguy's reveal and both Samus and Doomguy starting to fight.

I think the most unbelievable part of that dream, is not Ridley being savagely disintegrated to flesh and bones but the fact that the internet didn't explode in rage between the people expecting a new metroid trailer and the ones that wanted Ridley to be in the new Smash.

If Cloud Strife can get in Smash,I don't see why Doomguy can't.
He has more history with Nintendo and he's important to gaming in general.
