But please, entertain us: How exactly do you think this "error" happened? Especially since Mashable is the only site I've seen using the edited version of the picture. For comparison, ABC News had no problem showing the unaltered image: http://abc7news.com/officials-youtube-shooter-identified-as-user-nasim-aghdam/3298575/ . Mashable has taken the picture down now, by the way, though I have taken screenshots and the modified picture still appears in the Google preview at this moment.
