Marketing teams hire genuine millennials to run their social media to ensure they always look hip to the kids. Good ones like Wendy's let them tweet without going through a committee to approve every interaction.
People like that Wendy's twitter is sassy, so they allow it. The only time it almost backfired was when they posted a smug Pepe, but that was because of that dumb Nazi Pepe bullshit that really shouldn't have been taken seriously in the first place.
