Let's start with their thesis statement: "Fuck Waluigi. There, I said it. Fuck Waluigi. He’s a terrible character that’s become a garbage internet meme and he is creatively and morally bankrupt."
They go on to say Waluigi is a cheap evil-version-of-the-hero trope. They mention that plans for an evil Peach and Daisy were blocked by Miyamoto, so clearly he would have blocked Waluigi, too, if only he had a time machine. Goes on to suggest Waluigi is the corrupted slave of Wario, broken into a shell of a man driven by no characteristics beyond hatred for Luigi. I mean, Vice themselves admitted there's not much character to Waluigi, so why bother contradicting that by over-analyzing him? They trash the Mario + Rabbids game while simultaneously lamenting Rabbid Peach being snuffed. No clue where that came from. Closes out by saying Waluigi fans have made some weird backstories, theories (they're one to talk), and especially weird memes, and, "That’s all fun, and fine, but it doesn’t mean Waluigi deserves our pity or our respect."

They couldn't have been more transparent. At the last meeting "We got a lot of flack for shitting on This Is America memes. To stay relevant, we should do more of that." Some schmuck "journalist" got an assignment via post-it note that read "shit on Waluigi memes". Queue a single hour of looking up Waluigi trivia, shoehorning it into the article, and getting hammered the night before the deadline while they still hadn't written anything.
