He said the same thing about horse armor. No one had done this kind of thing before so they took a risk. Everyone mocked them for it, yet everyone seemed to buy it. At one point they set all the DLC on discount except horse armor which they raised the price, and it sold just as well as the DLCs on sale. People constantly tell developers to stop but constantly buy this stuff over and over again. Have some fucking self control damn it.
