I don't think anyone is angry at Isabelle being in Smash. The outrage is mostly focusing on her being a "full character", instead of an echo.

Which, while I am not enraged by, I kinda agree she should have just been an echo. But I got freaking Richter so I am contractually obliged to be happy with the game regardless of what happens now.
