People have all sorts of physical preferences when it comes to attractiveness that range from accepted to unconventional, but not enough to make you a pariah either; Large tiddies, small tiddies, hamplanets, muscle fetishes, bone-skinny chicks, piercings, hair length, body art, etc.

The taboo nature of loli/pedophilia is based on the fact that they are children, meaning that they are not mentally mature enough to make decisions regarding sexual matters. Some might be depicted as quite precocious, but the underlying lack of world experience and maturity means that they are considered to still be unable to understand the ramifications of engaging in lewd activities. Therefore, hatred of lolicon/pedos ultimately stems from the concept that that topic involves the combination of rape due to the lack of mental maturity of the child to give true consent, and the destruction of innocence that an underage individual inherently possesses. This combined with most animals' instinct to protect the young in all aspects including their innocence (i.e. movie, vidya, and music age advisories) leads to a strong stigma against those who would corrupt it.

But legal lolis are mentally mature and render the TL;DR above moot, so it's all gucci.
