Jahy-sama Won't Be Discouraged (Japanese: ジャヒー様はくじけない!, Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!) is a manga about the Demon Lord's second in command, Jahy-sama, banished as a young girl in the human world, who attempts to recover her powers and restore the Demon Realm after it was destroyed by a magical girl.

History

The manga was written and illustrated by Wakame Konbu.^[1] It was released on August 22, 2017.^[2] As of October 8th, 2019, the manga has 36 chapters and is ongoing. The series is serialized in Gangan Joker.

Online Presence

On February 22nd, 2018, the March 2018 release of Gangan Joker included Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai as its main feature.^[3]

Last year, my college's marching band had a thing set up where the whole band would be on this app, which allowed for people to post stuff, like updates on rehearsals, performances, that sort of thing. Anyone could post what they want.

This one guy, think it was a freshman in the percussion section, decided to start shitposting images related to band, nothing harmless and often encouraging in intention, but definitely not what the app was meant for.

One day, after a particularly tough performance that we were proud of, he posted this.

He got told in a reply to the image, by the goddamn Band Director himself, to stop posting these images, as they were not relevant to the app's intention as a method of keeping the band up-to-date and informed on the going-ons of band.

Never posted again after that. I choose to believe he disintegrated on the spot out of shame, but at the same time he probably shook it off. Percussionists are tough.
