By finding this particular frog after what I assume was a lengthy quest, the young man(?) in the picture has achieved so much enlightened growing a third eye wasn't enough and he just grew the entire fuckin' face. The process was mildly bloody.

I want to hear someone who has never heard of the series try to explain what is going on in this picture.
