Originally designed to keep crows away from crops, Dr. Wily hijacked him and turned him into a soldier in his next series of Robot Masters. Unfortunately, during the reprogramming Straw Man somehow acquired radical left political views and spends his time browsing Twitter complaining about fictional teenage females being sexualized and "fixing" designs for them.

None of the other Robot Masters really like him.

He defeats Mega Man by calling his fans Nintendo fanboys who spend all their money on Roll figurines and Capcom microtransactions.
