One of the most fucking ridiculous technicalities of this show that I absolutely adore is the following:

Technically, Pearl being attracted to the Mystery Girl should count as heterosexual. since that word literally means "being sexually attracted to a different sex than yours", since Mystery Girl is a woman and Pearl is genderless, they aren’t from the same gender and hence they’re heterosexual, in fact, any gem attracted to any human woman should follow this logic.
