The New Adventures had He-man leave Eternia to fight a Mutant army in space. He got a new female sidekick named MARA… Now Mara's not a particularly unique name, but they are clearly the same character – the five foot long braid gives it away.

I never would have dreamed that someone would make reference to the 1990 cartoon. And this is on top of the references to Despondos from the 2002 cartoon…
