Xi Jinping - Xi gang

I feel with what's going on in Hong Kong right now that this isn't a great time to be praising this guy. Real liberation is not fearing your government will kidnap or murder you without reason, investigation, or repercussion. I would't know if there's any merit to the man's economic policies so at least potentially he's addressing poverty but I wouldn't feel he deserves praise until the utter brutality stops. If I lived in China and were taken to above the poverty line his policies the first thing I would do is secure the means to escape and if I couldn't do that then clearly I was never going to be allowed to be free.
