For the direction, I can see people worrying about them leaning too heavily on "sjw pandering". Considering how they tripped out of the gate with Captain Marvel. And the Girl Power! moment in Endgame was a bit excessive. As well as Black Panther pandering pretty hard. And there's the worry that they could even ruin the female characters that they bring in.
Hell, I'm baffled they're doing Fem-Thor. Didn't everyone hate that line and it sold like shit? At the very least, there's the chance they could take the idea and do good with it. But I don't think Love Interest from the first two Thor movies is the best choice.
That all being said, it also makes sense that they're putting a bit more focus on female characters here. Excluding the likes of the X-Men, a lot of the popular female Marvel characters aren't that well known in the Mainstream. So now with the MCU rebuilding after the Infinity/Thanos chapter is complete, they have time to introduce more into the series. Especially with so many of the bigger characters leaving or changing.
This was made because people actually think she hulk is just female bruce banner and made just for the mcu
They also dont know spider woman even though she was in spiderverse
And its usually these kind of people
