This new Powerpuff Girls game is looking great!

The girl’s boyfriends, who were thought to have been kidnapped, turn out to have been at a sauna all day. But apparently they aren’t their actual boyfriends, and the girls are apparently just their crazy exes who they don’t even remember their names.
The same girls who were shot and nearly died in their arms in Kunio-tachi no Banka.
The guys are actually dating the two girls who had acted in a condescending manner to the protagonists the entire game, and are the secret final bosses. Thing is, the whole secret boss thing becomes a meta joke as the condescending girls say that the protagonist’s appearance in Kunio-tachi no Banka, which never released in the west, was something akin to a forgotten first date…
You know, the same game I mentioned earlier where they were shot by the main villain and nearly died?
In short, the whole game’s premise and advertising was all a lie. It was a meta, cruel twist ending that renders the entire game’s relatively upbeat story premise pointless for a joke.
