If King Crimson is weaponized lag, this would be King Crimson Requiem.

I had this happen on Crazy Taxi one time, only it was just the character voices.
I was playing as Gus. Things started looping with him saying "It's under control," and the lady passenger started saying "Hey, whoa!" and a few other audio bites randomly stacked onto the loop. The loop was perfectly timed so that it sounded like some sort of weird music, kinda like what Strong Bad does here:

Then after around a minute or so of that, there was a sudden audio explosion of a hundred different shouts and lines that got stacked up being blurted out all at once. It was hilarious.
