So there was a Reddit thread where Daron Nefcy was answering fan questions about Stat vs the Forces of Evil.
However all questions in the thread about the series finale were ignored. No statement on whether any other source of magic existed. No statement on which characters and beings might have survived or died as a result of magic's destruction.
