Your research is good and brings up fair points.

At the same time, I don't have an issue with how spindly it is. Just that it looks like its wearing an actual stealth suit as opposed to its own skin. It looks even more anthropomorphic than most Pokemon in the Humanshape egg group. If the colors were just a little different, or it was solid black as opposed to the navy blue sweater vest, it'd look more natural.
