There are traffic lights that way Me: No There aren't. Luke: Yes, there are Me: I will bet anything there are no traffic lights this way Luke: Alright, what do you want to bet? Me: Ponies. Luke: You mean you won't watch the show anymore? Me: No, I mean you will. Luke: Okay, when you lose, what will it cost you? Me: You make me watch something I don't want to watch. Luke: That doesn't work. You don't care Me: I guess you aren't a betting man, then. Luke: Okay, fine. I'll just rub it in your face like always. Me: Alright, when I win, you're watching ponies. Luke: You won't win. There are definitely traffic lights. Me: There definitely aren't. Luke: Yes, there's one at the bottom of the hill and another one after the turn. Me: Why would I go that way? Luke: Because that's the way you go Me: No it isn't. Why would I go down the hill? Luke: Because...oh wait. Me: See? No lights if you turn right. Luke: No, that doesn't count. You're taking the long way Me: No, I'm not. I turn right, avoid all the lights, and get straight on the road to our house Luke: No, the other way is way more direct. Me: How could you get more direct than this? You lost the bet. Luke: No, I didn't. You're taking the long way Me: No, I'm not. And even if I was, you lost the bet. There are no lights this way Luke: No, I didn't lose. You're taking the long way Me: Look, even if you were right (which you're not) and this way is miles longer than the other way, that wasn't our bet. The bet was that there were no lights and you lost. You're watching ponies. Luke: No, I'm not. You took the long way And so on and so forth until we got home. Even if he agrees that he lost the bet, he's still not going to watch the show. Luke, if you aren't man enough to follow through with a bet, then you clearly are not not manly enough for ponies.
