About
The TikTok Swastika Necklace or Hip Hop Titanium Steel Pendant is a necklace advertised on TikTok Shop in December 2025, comprised of a silver chain with a swastika pendant. The item was purportedly being sold by Shanwei Chengcheng Technology Trading Co. and went viral that month as it began appearing on users' For You pages, inspiring backlash. The item was reportedly removed from the platform just before Christmas 2025.
History
As early as December 24th, 2025, TikTok Shop began advertising a product on TikTok called the "Hiphop titanium steel pendant" for $7.99, a 50 percent off deal. The product is a silver chain necklace with a tilted swastika as a pendant.
That morning, Redditor u/VikingWarrior793 posted an image of the Shop ad for the necklace to the /r/tiktokgossip[1] subreddit, writing, "So tik tok is just letting hate symbols be sold as 'hip hop' pendants online? Do better tik tok! Anyone else have this come across their FYP?" garnering over 720 upvotes in two days.
Removal From TikTok Shop
On December 25th, 2025, following backlash towards the pendant's presence on TikTok Shop, NBC News[2] reported that the item had been removed from TikTok Shop.
According to the report, the necklace was being sold by Shanwei Chengcheng Technology Trading Co., but NBC "did not find a company online under that name" and could not contact the seller.

Swastika pendants are being recommended to users on TikTok shop. When symbols tied to antisemitism and white supremacy are marketed on a major social platform, the Jewish community is impacted with shock and fear.
Swastikas aren’t only a representation of a dark past. They continue to be used against us today. It’s frightening, and it’s unacceptable.
