From what I've seen anti-"degeneracy" niggas are usually weebs who jerk off to traps, futa, lolicon, and other trash while no one is looking. This might not be the author's intention but if you interpret it as such (and replace "I'm a libertarian" with "Ban the porn" and "ban the porn" with "I'm a degenerate") then this makes more sense.
