Yeah, that always pissed me off. I remember one of the Metal Gear Solid games (I want to say 4?) got a 9.7 rating or something like that and people were furious it wasn't 10. To me, a game that is 97% the way to literal perfection seems like something to pick up.

The worst game of all times don't go below 50% on metacritic. Duke Nukem Forever was 54%. The translation I think you should do is take a game's score, double it, then subtract 100%

If a game has 54% on metacritic, its really 8% the quality of a good game. This game is 26% with that adjustment. And anything with a metacritic below 50% should be avoided like a plague.
