Gonna have a hard disagree on the movie not being about Sonic. Damn near everything in this movie revolves around Sonic. His rings, Robotnik chasing after and wanting Sonic's power, and Sonic and James Marsden becoming friends, the plot doesn't really even kick off until Sonic causes it. Marsden is very much a main character as well, but they don't leave Sonic off-screen for any real length of time.
