The story will basically is that Genis offered to accompany Seles, since his companions were not there and Seles's brother (Zelos) was out attending to real affairs, to go to the elf village to be diagnosed and find a treatment or cure for hes illness since Genis knows very well that there are many wise men in the village who could help.

After a long journey that lasted for months and that both helped and protected each other with their magical and physical combat abilities, although Seles only occasionally and for short periods due to hes illness, and climbing mountains and walking through forests in search of herbs for the curative formula, recommended by the wise elves of the town with the ingredients where they are instructed how the formula is done; once having the instructions and notes Genis and Seles return to Se Abbey, on the way picking up more ingredients to create more natural medicine that lasts for months, where they say goodbye and promise to see each other again, and well before Genis leaves, Seles kisses her on the cheek.
