Super Smash Brothers Ultimate

Do you ever how how Snake somehow came back in Ultimate after his mysterious absence in Smash 4?
Before the whole "Everyone is here", I thought no Konami characters, especially Snake, would show up in Smash after the whole controversy. Then I thought Bomberman would be the next Konami character, until Simon is leaked, and after that, I thought he would be the Konami character that would basically replace Snake. But at the end of the day, we got both.
