Recently I was listening to some intermission between news, something similar to MAD or The Onion. Usually presenting no-news or ridiculous news with a spin so you can add a laugh track.

Now? Everything is real important news, over half are presented as-is, with light attempts at humor at end, while criticizing the government/social media/WHO for writing better jokes and ruining them by making those reality.

Sometimes the anchor almost breaks character and you feel they're this close to telling Murray one last joke.

God read their articles and went "haha, but what if though, that'd be funny".
