Mainstream media is owned by corporations who only care for their personal agendas and stuffing their pockets. News stations and websites will resort to twisting truth and creating scapegoats to fulfill an ideology so they have a viewership and cash cow that will never run dry. All while touting themselves as the truth to a those that will blindly believe them. The news no longer has the public in mind, only the almighty dollar sign, their true god. All hail the wonders of late capitalism.

Let's be honest. Most of us actually just want all of the above but in favor of our perspective. We may predict that we'd do otherwise, but nobody likes it when a news source tells them they're wrong about something (or when they think it's doing so). We are not immune to propaganda.
