This looks aight. The fact that you didn't ree about the baseline character helps massively. You didn't try to "fix" it, you just did your own version of it according to your style and what you think looks good.

I don't really see what's wrong with the arms, though.

But on the subject of that first paragraph, an art style affects everything about a work, you cannot really draw Uzaki in a different art style than the show's without redesigning her to an extent. Proportions are a big part of an art style, you can't really draw a character in a different art style without altering their proportions. I don't really see how any fan art like this would qualify as a different take or a redesign, besides maybe the shirt text, but really this is pretty much exactly what I would expect Uzaki to look like in your style. I don't see why you're complaining (besides Twitter being Twitter), but then again I'm not you and I didn't see whatever you envisioned this work as looking like.

But for if you're trying to emphasize breasts, in my limited experience I generally give them their own outline. I'll admit to being in the per-historic era with lighting, so I can't help a whole lot there.
