God fucking damn it, please not this 'Nazis are actually left-leaning' shit again.
Just because they have the word socialist in their name doesn't make them left, just like North Korea having the word 'democratic' in their name doesn't make them a democracy.
- Nazis didn't adhered to the concept of a class-war, and instead replaced it with a race-war.
- Socialism is an universal ideology ('workers of all countries, unite!' and stuff) while nazi ideology was ultra-nationalist and xenophobic.
- Hitler indeed had some social propaganda and reforms, but that was mostly before he get into power. He then quickly started to get closer and work with industrialists because he needed their sympathy for the wars to come.
-Hitler outlawed trade unions, harshly repressed democrats, communists and anyone with even vaguely socialist views.
- Hitler even killed members of his own party that were too left leaning for him (Gregor Strasser)
So please, just accept that nazis were a far-right ideology and stop pushing that on the left. We already have our own embarassment to deal with (USSR), you deal with your own.
My take on this has been that since leftist ideologies usually emphasize harmony/unity/solidarity moreso than the right, they don't handle seeing dissenting persons and ideologies as well and are prone to fighting amongst themselves in a vain attempt to get everyone on the same page.
On the right, there is a greater presence of such things as nationalism, militarism, and individualism. Thus when divergent right wing groups/persons meet they understand that they're not supposed to agree or necessarily even like each other at all, and this mutual understanding breeds a certain level of shared respect that allows them to work together well in the short term (before they gladly resume fighting each other).
