It's not even a reboot, it's a revival, the characters are the same and it's a direct continuation of the old episodes, hoping that eventually, the new and old episodes start getting shown together.

To be fair i can’t wait for the references to their shared universes of Tiny Toons, Pinky & The Brain Freakazoid, Road Rovers, Histeria! ,DC Comics. et al.
