No joke, though. Politicalcompassmemes is probably not only the single political subreddit actually worth a damn not full of extremist idiots, but they also unironically formed a place where actual political discussions can take place without people going full ape mode on them, despite everyone wearing their colors and labels right out there in public. The only place where I have seen LibLeft and AuthRight people have casual conversations without blaming the other for the death of America or some shit. Honestly, they make even KYM look like your average extremist political side in comparison.

I feel like they cracked the code on how to talk about politics online and still behave like a functional human being in the process: through the power of shitposting and united in identifying the bad things of their own side first and foremost.
