lal Anonymous2008-02-08 19:54:28N0.9422451 Fanservice of any type always makes me /rolleyes. It is absolutely pointless, as it serves no other purpose other than exciting the (male) audience. When situations that are part of the plot arise that could be considered fanservice, it really isn't, because it is actually a plot device. It serves a purpose. But when the only reason a lewd scene is displayed is to please the audience, it breaks the 4th wall. It pulls me out of the story more than anything, and the makes me barrel roll into infinite facepalms.
