r/RantGrumps broke a story on their subreddit accusing Dan Avidan of f------ women and then completely ghosting them.

A separate Twitter user posted a separate story that was false, pinned for a day on r/RantGrumps, debunked, before being widely condemned on r/RantGrumps.

r/GameGrumps mixed these two things together and thus said all accusations against Dan were lies.

Dan then put out a statement confirming he was in fact having sex with the mentioned woman in the original post on r/RantGrumps.

r/RantGrumps in vast majority never particularly cared and just wanted to have the accusations addressed, which they were.

r/GameGrumps now has a full frontpage and comment sections exclusively hating r/RantGrumps and promoting its deletion, with great vitriol.

r/RantGrumps has pointed out this is likely just them trying to get rid of the main place critics of Game Grumps can go to criticize the show or vent frustration, as people otherwise get drowned out and downvote bombed doing so on r/GameGrumps.
