I wanted to do a character from Discworld who I hadn't seen illustrated very often so decided to draw Chrysophrase the troll gangster with a couple of his goons. When I looked up Chrysophrase the stone I discovered that it's very smooth and a great greeny blue colour so made that the basis for his look.
