Looked up deffar.png and happened to find this in the search results among some family name junk.

It also appears that Deffar's most common surname locations are in Northern Africa, lower Europe, and a wee bit in America.

That answer about the name reminds me of Whynne's original opinion about people calling Trollface "coolface". I don't remember exactly what it was (good job on that Whynne), but it would be something in the lines of "people who call it coolface can go suck a di-".
