When I drew him, he had no f------ name, unless you count deffar.png as his name. I don't claim to have made it into a meme, nor associate with feels, it was my contribution to a "draw a reaction image" thread on /b/. If you're implying that Wojack is his proper name, I am ready to kill you with a sharp object, because that's just the name it was popularized on by some Polish s----.

Looked up deffar.png and happened to find this in the search results among some family name junk.

It also appears that Deffar's most common surname locations are in Northern Africa, lower Europe, and a wee bit in America.

Just some interesting – if possibly irrelevant – pieces of info.

That answer about the name reminds me of Whynne's original opinion about people calling Trollface "coolface". I don't remember exactly what it was (good job on that Whynne), but it would be something in the lines of "people who call it coolface can go suck a di-".

Not long after it became popular and he went as far as getting a proper copyright claim to it, he redacted it into something like "call it whatever you like," since he now had a PR face to maintain.

Him going from keeping his anon roots and attitude to realizing he could make money out of that probably made him do the trollge grin expression IRL.
