And yes, not having people who can properly analyze games made for a niche audience is a problem with the industry. They're still reviewing a game from the lens of someone who is unfamiliar with the niche, and as such, shouldn't pretend to be a part of the target demographic and ask the industry To change for them for a game they never liked to begin with .
The sites doing articles on accessibility for disabled gamers does nothing to make those who have used disabled people as a shield any more qualified in talking about the issue, unless they're written by the same reviewers who fall into the group I laid put above.
And for the last time, from the top, I do not take issue with games journalists just for being games journalists. I take issue with those I descibed above. I literally cannot be more specific unless I go out of my way to waste more time on this and compile a list of people who have unfairly said hard games are too hard and made BS excuses for themselves. That isn't to say the industry isn't without it's flaws but Jesus man… chill.
