So, this is a reference to the Falador Massacre, also known as the 6/6/6 Glitch because of the date it occurred.

To celebrate the first 99 Construction level, a player called Cursed You threw a house party. Too many people turned up and some had to be kicked from the party to deal with the lag. A person called Durial321 was among these. However, Durial got kicked while in a combat ring that had safe combat (players could die but they wouldn't lose any items).

Durial quickly discovered he could still attack people, but they couldn't fight back and unlike in the house it wasn't safe. Durial decided to perform the genocide route and kill everyone they came across. Eventually he got banned.
