I'm sorry, what?
cyberdogg here is making a bit of a false equivalency: guns and websites aren't exactly equal. One allows you to kill/injure someone, the other allows you to look at cats and express your opinions.
Now, I suppose the point is that the 'college liberal' is being hypocritical by upholding First Amendment rights while opposing Second Amendment rights. Frankly, it's hardly hypocritical to oppose an amendment and support another one – ever heard of Prohibition? Many people didn't support that, even while they supported the whole Bill of Rights.
Finally, limiting access to guns is about as good of an idea as a certain limitation on free speech (we've all heard the 'shouting fire in a crowded theater' example). And neither one violates their respective amendments.
In conclusion, I cannot agree with the implied argument of OP.
I live in Alaska, and the majority of us own guns to hunt/protect ourselves (against wildlife) with. You can keep your "gun control", I'm going to keep a rifle in my closest to keep that brown bear from eating my dog.
