Not really; Vol 6 was a bit better and 7 had a decent setup but 8 was a mess. Most people didn't drop it after vol 3, they dropped it either after vol 4 or more likely 5.

And a lot of people have tried giving it a second chance, it's just miles, and Kerry have been very dismissive about a lot of the criticism themselves.
